Founded in 1992, Pinnergy is a privately owned company based in Austin, Texas. In July 2003, Pinnacle Growth, Ltd. and Taylor Invesco, LLC acquired a majority ownership position in the Company, providing Pinnergy with additional capital resources and management expertise. The objective was to build a diversified energy service company with a broad and comprehensive service offering.

Since July 2003, the Company has assembled an experienced management team of talented individuals with over 250 years of combined industry experience. Through a series of asset additions, the formation of several new divisions, and two acquisitions, the Company has experienced significant growth over the past several years, extended its geographic territory and expanded and diversified its service offering.

Currently, the Company offers a wide array of drilling services, rental services, fluid services and oil & gas waste disposal services to the energy industry including: surface casing drilling, conductor drilling, cellars, rat & mouse hole drilling, water-well drilling, generator, light plant, frac tank, water line and pump rental, fluid hauling, vacuum trucks, and oil & gas waste disposal.

In order to position the Company for a growth strategy spanning multiple geographic regions, the Company’s name was changed from Ark-La-Tex Boring & Anchor Service, Inc. to Pinnergy, Inc. in September 2004. The Company’s corporate status was changed from C-corporation to Limited Partnership on December 31, 2005.

As of March 2006, Pinnergy changed the names of its operating divisions as follows:
- Drilling Services (formerly Ark-La-Tex Boring)
- Fluid Services (formerly Taylor Service Company)
- Oil & Gas Waste Disposal (formerly Pinnergy Disposal Operating)
